Looking for a Front Desk receptionist who will also be competent in billing for a well-established medical office.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Supervision and evaluation of one or more employees
Welcoming and checking in patients

Phone Calls, Patient Appointments

Keeping patient files up to date

Verifying Insurance eligibility, copays, and deductibles, and payment collection
Troubleshooting insurance authorization denials
Assisting to verify and obtain authorizations for procedures and visits
Ordering supplies as needed
Direct communication with physician provider for troubleshooting and correct problems with the functioning of the office
Billing which is electronically done and includes sending claims, posting of payments, sending statements, troubleshooting denials and projections of claims, communication with insurance company as needed.

HIPAA compliant.
Presently the billing is done via electronic practice management system called KAREO.
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Experience is preferred, but willing to train qualified candidate
